My New Word is Heteronormative

Jada Pinkett Smith is in trouble with the Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian, Transgender, and Supporters Alliance (BGLTSA). Ms. Pinkett Smith was speaking at the Harvard Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations and was criticised for her heteronormative comments.

I just love those two sentences.

I'm not making this up! From Human Events Online Kerry Urges Congress to Honor Communist and Stalinist Dr. W.E.B. Du Bois.

The Soviet Union awarded W.E.B. Du Bois the Lenin Peace Prize. Maoist China staged a national holiday in his honor in 1959.

...snip...

the NAACP kicked Du Bois out of the organization--twice.

...snip

...for Kerry to overlook the Harvard-educated intellectual's fervent anti-Americanism, his membership in the Communist Party, his softness on Hitler, and his opposition to the NAACP's integrationist platform clearly shows a large blind spot the senator has for extremists on the Left.

From Phys.org New Technology to Use Human Body As Digital Transmission Path (HAN)

Human society is entering an era of ubiquitous computing, when networks are seamlessly interconnected and information is always accessible at our fingertips.
This means with a HAN we could exchange information with a simple touch to a computer, a laptop on a tabletop, or a simple handshake. This would be great in a dating environment. One touch and you have her phone number and any other information she wants to transmit. No need for conversation. Drop in to the bar, take a swig, and fill up your "black Book". Oh my, I hope using "her" and "she" wasn't too heteronormative of me.
